Three teams playing at the same time?
Yes, they play at the same time on the same court or field. The rules change a bit but the game is very similar to the sport you know and love. All your skills are transferable.
Three Leagues? ... across 27 cities?
Yes, we’re launching three Leagues: 3TS Basketball, 3TS Football, and 3TS Volleyball. And athletes in 27 global cities can start or join a team in those cities.
This is not as ambitious or complicated as it may sound. We believe that athletes will welcome the opportunity to play for teams that they form and control. And to play a sport that will mesmerize and delight millions of fans.
No franchising?
That’s right: no franchising.
Instead of pro athletes with contacts, we have a series of tournaments.
The first series consists of local club teams playing in a city-wide tournament. These teams play for a cash prize but they can also raise money from fans.
After the tournament, fans vote for players to represent their city in global competition. If these city all-stars win their regional competition, they go on to a play in a global competition.
Are athletes paid? ... how?
Athletes are paid a share of the winnings and a share of team merchandise sales.
There are no long-term contracts. Athletes are committed only for a single season. At the end of each season, an athlete can choose to: remain with the team, join a different team, or start his/her own team.
How do YOU make money?
Our business model is similar to Airbnb, Uber, and other ‘SaaS’ companies. 3TS is not just a collection of Leagues but a sports platform.
We take a small part of sales to for promotion and operation of the leagues and the platform. Approximately 85% of revenue goes to the athletes.
Our platform is at the center of a sports ecosystem that grows the sport for all participants. We strive for fans to be engaged and appreciated and athletes to be recognized and rewarded.
